Brew Hub is a company that provides full brewing and packaging for distribution and have decided to build their flagship facility in Lakeland, Florida. Led by a team of beer industry executives and craft-brewing experts, they searched the central Florida area to find the perfect location to premiere their innovative concept. Brew Hub claimed Interstate Commerce Park, located on the 1-4 corridor as their first location.
Marcobay Construction started the Brew Hub project in April of 2014 and completed Brew Hub’s first prototype in September of 2014. The 50,000 square-foot brewery is the first of a group of five new, state-of-the-art craft breweries the company plans to build throughout the US that will serve the brand holders of craft beer. Each facility will allow craft brewers to Partner Brew their beers on site under the direct supervision of their brewmaster. Brew Hub has an initial brewing capacity of 75,000 barrels, or one million cases, annually. The site’s central location will allow brand holders to efficiently distribute beer to wholesalers throughout Florida and the Southeast.
