Marcobay has recently started construction on the 50,400 square-feet Brew Hub Lakeland facility, at Interstate Commerce Park off the I-4 Corridor. This is the first of its five planned locations for Brew Hub throughout the Country. The Lakeland facility will deliver beer to wholesalers throughout Florida and the Southeast and plans to begin brewing beer in summer 2014.
Marcobay will be providing full-scale construction management services on the project through completion.
Brew Hub was founded in St. Louis Missouri in 2012 by Timothy Schoen and his team of craft brewing experts and industry executives. Brew Hub Lakeland’s goal is to provide exceptional brewing, packaging, distribution and sales services to the craft brewers of today, even offering craft brewers the opportunity to partner brew their beers on site. Chief brewmaster, Paul Farnsworth, will oversee design, layout, construction and the day-to-day operation of the brewing, production and warehouse facility in Lakeland. Brew Hub Lakeland will have an initial brewing capacity of approximately 75,000 barrels annually.
Brew Hub Lakeland is an entirely new concept to the craft brewing world, setting out to change the process of the craft brewing industry. With Brew Hub Lakeland being the first brewing and packaging facility for the company, we will become an incubation center for partner-brewers looking to capitalize on the fast-growing craft segment. Brew Hubs unique, turnkey solution will help craft brewers overcome production and distribution barriers to brand profitability.
